ORGANIC FERTILIZATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The objective of the Project is the design of an ORGANIC FERTILIZER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for the administrative and agronomic control of Livestock Manure.
The Purpose of the Project and in compliance with one of the five technological challenges of the FEMAC Cluster, is to improve the efficiency of livestock manure management with an innovative system that provides a significant cost reduction in agricultural production, through col· collaboration between 4 member companies of FEMAC.
The essence of each and every one of the Projects initiated and managed by FEMAC is to provide support for the execution of the Strategy defined in its Strategic Plan 2012-2015, and of its last review carried out in 2013, and which includes the main technological challenges of the sector.
This Project in particular is within the technological challenge of manufacturing a more sustainable machine from an environmental point of view. Machines that allow the farmer to use limited resources in a more efficient way, which allows a lower use of chemicals and allows a transition to a more organic and clean agriculture.
To carry out this purpose, it is important to incorporate new enabling technologies into agricultural machinery. Among these identified technologies are TICs (traceability management software), photonics (cubic capacity measurement lasers), and electronics (electrical conductivity measurement system with positioning systems).
